For the 150th bottling run since Guillermo first fired up our 1903 boiler almost 20 years ago, and for their first time, they decided to ferment the mosto with the bagazo (cooked & crushed agave fibers) in their open topped wooden vats.
 
With no water added after distillation, this tequila was distilled to exactly 80 proof. Fortaleza Blanco is a true aficionado’s tequila.
 
Aromas of citrus, and rich cooked agave fill your nose in this unique and very special blanco tequila. Flavors include citrus, cooked agave, vanilla, basil, olive, and lime. The finish is long and deep, complex yet easy to drink.
