The Frei Brothers Reserve Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of earthy cigar box and ripe plum, framed by smoky undertones. On the palate, flavors of blackberry, blackcurrant and tea leaf culminate in a complex finish with velvety tannins.
Frei Brothers has been part of the fabric of Sonoma County for over a century. After coming to California from Switerland, founder Andrew Frei first established vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley in 1890. His two sons, Walter and Louis, eventually took over and adopted the name Frei Brothers.
